Rampant Lion Leather Barrette

Our Rampant Lion Leather Barrette is made from hand-selected top-grain vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stained and distressed to give it an Old World finish. Used as early as 1222 by Alexander II, the Rampant Lion later graced the royal standard of the King or Queen of Scotland as late as the 17th century. Though the crest is typically depicted in red and yellow, Celtic Leatherworks proudly offers the design in a combination of historically-inspired leather finishes.

It is made from hand-selected top grain vegetable tanned leather, which has been hand-stained and distressed to give it an Old World feel. This leather barrette measures 3 inches between stick holes.

Color may vary slightly due to the nature of the hand-rubbed stain.
